If food police comes to mind when you hear, “We have a dietitian you could meet with.” Don’t worry, you’re not the first to think it. What if you heard, this wouldn’t be the case though? Instead, it would mean something more like finding the eating pattern that works best to support your life and health goals.

Food is a central part of our lives. It’s a necessity. We often know what we should eat; but life, emotions, and habits influence what we actually eat. That’s where working with a dietitian can be the most beneficial to make sure you are setting yourself up for success – even with everything life throws at you.

Understanding our wellness appointments

All new clients are set up with a one-hour General Wellness Appointment. Before your appointment, you’ll receive a Wellness Form, which will be our guide during our session together.

That Wellness form includes a key part: a three-day food journal. We get that scribbling down what you eat might seem a bit overwhelming; but don’t worry, we’re not here to judge! Yes, even dietitians enjoy cookies and fries and have days we don’t eat all the veggies we should. Our goal is to support you, no matter where you’re at!

During our time together, we’ll dive into your goals and tackle any questions you have. We’ll go over the insights you shared in your Wellness Form and come up with 1-2 goals that fit just right for you. Plus, we’ll figure out what support you need to keep you cruising along smoothly.

After our chat, we’re still here for you! Whether you prefer a longer 30 or 60-minute Wellness Appointment or a quick 15-minute Accountability Check-in, we’ve got your back. Don’t worry, you’ll know what time fits best for you to meet your goals. But, it’s important to keep that momentum going!

Eating right made easy

Let’s chat about what it really means to eat well. First, what it’s NOT is all organic, only vegetables, no carbs, lean protein. Instead it’s building a balanced eating routine that has flexibility. It’s making tweaks that feel easy, it’s manageable changes. And that IS exactly what we dive into in our time together!

Hungry for ideas? We’ve got you covered there too with loads of tasty recipes to spice up your meal plans. Plus, we’ll hook you up with some trusty websites packed with delicious dishes to keep your taste buds happy.

Ever wonder about portion sizes and those tricky food labels? Don’t worry, we’ll break it down in a way that makes sense. You’ll leave knowing how to dish out the right amounts and decode labels like a pro.

Our fave guide for serving sizes can be viewed here.

The idea is that you get the tools, resources, and support to up your nutrition game so you feel your best. It’s all about arming yourself with the know-how to make healthy choices without the stress.
