Stop the Comparison Game!

When we first set goals (like last New Years :P) we tend to shoot for the stars. *Read more on goal setting here.  But no one really talks about what happens when we see all the people whose opinions we really care about. Does Aunt Matilda give us the once over, like she’s clearly disappointed? Does Grandma make a comment on how we are the same weight as last year? Does Uncle Brad seem to grill you about your life choices all year? Or does your cousins new girlfriend start telling you about this awesome thing she just started where you can join her team and lose TONSSSSS of weight? Let’s be honest THAT’S the real wince-worthy moment. It’s nothing to do with you – but can still make us anxious to see these people. If you need help reaching your goals, or more info, set up a consult with one of our Pro’s. Whether is nutrition, total health, chronic diseases, exercise, or your mental health – we’ve got you covered. If you need a boost of confidence – You’ve got this. Spread kindness even if people aren’t the most kind to you. Maybe they are just as anxious about their goals not being met. Maybe they’ll be your new accountability partner. Or they might just never change. Who knows, but don’t forget how far you DID come and all the other positive traits you have. And enjoy the holidays with your favorite foods, drinks, people and traditions!

For those that know someone else in the family had a super successful year. (We’ll keep this one short.) Cheer them on! Be happy for them! They can be successful… and you can too. There’s enough room on the success boat for everyone. Trust us. #dontbeanegativenancy
